  Stopped into Red Pepper today at the beautiful office location on Pearl Street and was delighted with the very nice owner, remodel portfolio and cabinet samples! The array of creative mosaic tiles, countertop material and design choices was amazing.

  After looking at conventional cabinet options (white shaker, anyone?) — and being underwhelmed — our contractor set up a meeting with Margie at Red Pepper. We were in the very beginning stages of what became a full remodel of our kitchen, living and dining spaces and while I had a 'vision,' I had completely NO idea how to execute. Margie and I had an instant connection. She more than 'got' where I was heading, but took that and ran with it — coming up with ideas that rounded out and completed the ideas dancing in my head. It was truly astounding to see it all come together. We went from a 1960s, dark, small space to an open, contemporary and eclectic setting that made me feel like I am walking into a NYC loft! Our American Loft cabinets are warm yet sleek and so unique that we get raves from everyone who comes in. They are exceptionally well-made and I nearly drool over the soft closes, magic corners and space efficiency we now have. From tile choices, to paint colors, to materials that complete the look, Margie truly got inside my head and gave us the kitchen (plus living and dining) space of our dreams. Even with the myriad curveballs we threw her way (family antiques that weren't optional), she found a unique and smart work-around that kept to the vision. To say that she has changed our life sounds cliche, but when my two girls are sitting doing homework at our 100-year-old walnut bar and I'm cooking in my beautifully appointed kitchen, I feel like everything has truly come full circle. We can't recommend her amazing eye and attention to detail highly enough!
